SPEAKER: Daniel Kirschbaum (they/he) is a strategic dreamer, a board game player, and finds joy in being fiercely present. They love to be in and near the water and they hate comedy. Daniel likes to create charcuterie tables, host gatherings of lovely humans and is afraid of cranes (the bird). They serve as the Senior Director for Young Adult Communities within the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and loves the work of connecting and equipping incredible young leaders for holy disruption and divine justice around the world. In addition to the ‘9-5,’ Daniel walks alongside congregations as they reimagine and reshape what faith community can be in their contexts, visits international friends and relatives, and plans his friends’ weddings.
WORSHIP LEADERS: Nickel & the Spare Change – Comprised of a few very talented LWM alumni (two, who are ELCA Pastors in Southeast Michigan!) and a couple of gifted and fervent LWM supporters (both who ran at least one Michigan Ragnar Road Race for LWM!), each member of Nickel & the Spare Change is passionate about connecting and creating community with God and others through music. We are excited to welcome back Nickel & the Spare Change as musical talent and worship leaders at this year’s Charge event!
