Give to the future of Living Water Ministries through planned giving.  Planned giving allows you to make a gift that costs you nothing during your lifetime and does not affect your personal cash flow.  Planned gifts to Living Water Ministries can be designated to our scholarship fund, facility improvements, our endowment fund, or our annual fund.  Making a planned gift allows you to give to camp twice … today and forever!

Gifts of Stock and Appreciated Assets

You transfer appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares you have owned for more than one year to Living Water Ministries.  Living Water Ministries sells your securities and uses the proceeds for its programs. You receive an immediate income tax deduction for the fair market value of the securities on the date of transfer, no matter what you originally paid for them and pay no capital gains tax on the transfer when the stock is sold.

Gifts from Your Will or Trust

Include a bequest to Living Water Ministries in your will or trust.  You may make your bequest unrestricted or direct it to a specific purpose.  You may indicate a specific amount, or a percentage of the balance remaining in your estate or trust.  Your assets remain in your control during your lifetime. And you can modify your gift to address changing circumstances.  Under current tax law, there is no upper limit on the estate tax deduction for your charitable bequests.

Gifts from Your Retirement Plan

Name Living Water Ministries as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), or other qualified plan.  You may designate us to receive all or a portion of the balance of your plan through your plan administrator.  The balance in your plan then passes to Living Water Ministries after your death.  You can continue to take regular lifetime withdrawals and avoid the potential double taxation your retirement savings would face if you designated them to your heirs.

Gifts of Life Insurance

You may designate Living Water Ministries as the beneficiary of an existing life insurance policy OR transfer ownership of a paid-up life insurance policy to Living Water Ministries.  Living Water Ministries receives the value of the policy after your death.  You can make a gift using an asset you and your family no longer require and receive an income tax deduction for the value of your investment.
