THE FLOOD

“The Flood” is a skit performed by LWM staff alum via zoom. The plot of the skit revolves around an individual who is caught in a flood. They ask God for help as the waters rise. As various people attempt to come to the person’s aid, they repeatedly wave off the assistance claiming that they are waiting for God to respond to their prayer. The flood overtakes them and when they meet God in heaven and ask God why God didn’t show up, God fills them in that they showed up three times. The skit conveys that God is all around us and in those we meet in our everyday lives. It also infers that we can be agents of God’s work in the world as well. (.mp4, 4:11 minutes, 220 MB)

BODY SHOP

‘The Body” is a skit performed by LWM staff alum via zoom. The plot of the skit revolves around an individual who isn’t satisfied with their own body, goes to a “body shop” and “tries on” other bodies only to discover in the end that their original body is perfect as it is.
