COVID-19 cases continue to rise with a 7-day average of 38,782 new cases per day in the United States. The fatality rate for COVID-19 is 55 times that of the flu in Michigan. The rate of transmission of COVID-19 in Michigan has also been rising these last couple of weeks. COVID-19 has simply not run its course, has not been contained, is not predictable, and is still a threat. While we all long for a return to “normal,” the uncertainties COVID-19 brings persist. This is an unfortunate truth, but it is the truth nonetheless.
As a result, Living Water Ministries has decided to postpone The Great Lakes Gathering, cancelling our January 2021 event and rescheduling it for January of 2022. During these times of pandemic and cancellation, we are holding the entire Living Water Ministries community in prayer. We also ask you to pray for Living Water Ministries as we navigate this bizarre moment in history.
